Total Involvement Ministry Programs

Total Involvement Ministry sponsors dynamic award-winning prison ministry and gang intervention programs which bring troubled teens together to pray and learn more about the Catholic faith. After school weight lifting programs, evening tutoring, and outdoor adventures to local state parks offer these young people opportunities to escape from hostile surroundings and experience their faith in action.

Prison Ministry

Bringing God’s peace to the imprisoned is the primary goal of our prison ministry programs. From praying the rosary, reading the bible, or teaching the faith, our unique charism is effective because of our sincere commitment to the spiritual needs of each prisoner. At Mass the prisoners like to participate in the readings and songs. Some cry; some are deep in prayer; and some just relax with their buddies, and always we sense a positive change in their life.

Street Ministry

When most people think of street ministry they conjure up images of soap box screamers proclaiming salvation through the word of God. However, our mission is a direct attempt at personal interaction with needy young people in violence torn neighborhoods. Through parish presentations, school seminars, and neighborhood walks we offer young people positive alternatives to a painful life on the streets.

Friendships and Guidance

Prevention, intervention, and follow-up are the practical goals of our mission to troubled youth. We accomplish this through our many programs designed specifically to foster a deeper commitment to their faith and build trust in us. Friendships are the most important element of our work and from these caring relationships comes life changing decisions and experiences.
