Mission Statement
|
The mission of Total Involvement Ministry began in 1989 filled with high ideals and hopes of creating a better tomorrow for at-risk youth through Christian outreach. Since that time our mission has grown to include people of any gender, age, or need. We have branched out to those in convalescent homes, who are ‘imprisoned’ in their own way and forgotten by many. We continually strive to find new ways to reach those in need.
Our programs address difficult challenges that occur in a person's life and we try to help them by providing an opportunity for change. Programs include sports activities, tutoring, outdoor adventures, street counseling, and prayer vigils, and are all bi-lingual.
We journey with anyone in need, but as one program says, ‘those who need the help, MAKE THE CALL’. We will not do anything for someone that they are capable of doing for themselves. We try to empower them to take ‘charge’ of their lives.
In a supportive spiritual environment, a person can begin to see other options and experience meaningful alternatives to their current life styles that will lead them to more productive lives. Through our dynamic ministry programs, we are building a better tomorrow for those in need.
It is our mission to fulfill the command of Christ: “for I was in prison and you visited me”. Matt. 25:36.
